All token metrics, character-to-token ratios, and cost estimates computed by this tool are heuristics designed for system architecture planning, cloud cost modeling, and educational comparison.
Official API billing may vary based on model vocabulary, non-Latin scripts, formatting tokens, and proprietary provider tokenizers (e.g. OpenAI o200k_base, Anthropic Claude tokenizers, DeepSeek 128k BPE). Users must cross-verify mission-critical enterprise budgets against their official vendor consoles.
2. Rate Accuracy & Tiered Pricing Changes
Model pricing tables (including Claude 5.5, GPT-6, Gemini 3, and DeepSeek V4) reflect public documentation audited as of October 2026. Special billing conditions—such as Gemini 3.1 Pro 200k token tiers, Anthropic 5-minute cache TTL write costs, and DeepSeek off-peak discounts—are provided for simulation purposes. Model providers may modify API rates without notice.
